In July 1983 the Business took a new direction and secured the Dealership for the relatively new Tractor Company, Kubota Tractors Australia, who also imported the world renowned German made Krone Hay and Silage equipment. The family Business introduced other Australian made Implements as Challenge, Jarrett, Crump, Murray Harrows, John Shearer, Connor Shea, Daken Equipment and other Manufacturers of Farm Machinery which complimented the Tractor Range of Products available to Customers.

Kubota Tractors with their outstanding, reliable, Japanese Engineering and Krone Hay Equipment, have been the backbone of success of Watson Tractors and now into their 40th Year as a Kubota-Krone Dealer. The Business started in the Service Area and management continue to ensure after sales service and spare parts backup is always a priority on all new equipment sold.

Heavily focused on Agriculture and the Lifestyle Market, we have seen the trend in recent years of many new customers moving from the Capital City to relocate to small acreage in local regions of the Central West. It is our policy to make sure they given the best possible advice on products to suit their application.

With 40 years as a Kubota/Krone Dealer, our experience, Company stability and advice, is an important Sales Tool to new clientele that need direction with their purchase of farm machinery or turf equipment.

We are proud to be able to supply many Implements and Attachments that are Family Owned and Manufactured in Australia such as Jarrett, Crump, Murray Harrows, John Shearer, Connor Shea, Gold Acres,  DakenAg and Great Plains.

TESTIMONIAL

Dee (Orange, NSW)
“I love my little Kubota (G2160) diesel ride-on-mower, the only time I would get rid of it is to trade in on another KUBOTA. I would not have any other brand. I bought my first Kubota T1600 in 1989, then upgraded to G2160 in 2001 when my needs required more horse power. I have had the best after-sales-service and spare parts backup from the Bathurst Kubota Dealership for the past 20 years.”

Dee (Orange, NSW)

“In 2004 I purchased three Krone Hay Machines – EC280 mower, Swadro 36T rotary rake and BP1250 round baler from WATSON TRACTORS. Then in October 2005 I added a new Kubota M110 Tractor. Some weeks later I rang young Dave Watson and complained that the tractor seemed to be using too much fuel. Dave was extremely concerned because fuel economy in one of the main features. I then proceeded to tell Dave its because I have it running as often as possible, I love listening to the sound of it. I have been dealing with the Watson family business for as long as I can remember. Since then in 2010 I updated my Baler to Krone VP1500MC and in 2011 I purchased a new Mower Conditioner EC2800CV.”

Bill (Bathurst, NSW)

“I currently have five Kubota units which I have purchased from WATSON TRACTORS. I deal with Millie & Dave Watson for the superb after sales service and friendly business attitude they always offer, Experienced servicemen attend to all the maintenance required for maximum reliability on all my Kubota units. It is always a pleasure to do business with a local family business and I cannot speak more highly of WATSON TRACTORS.”

Zob (Walgett, NSW )

John Doe's Image
“From the moment I sat on my new Zero-turn Kubota, I knew I had made a great decision for me, my business and the family. In no time I was singing and punching the air which is not what one would normally do when mowing the lawn. The mower is comfortable and furthermore predictable which is important when you are whistling while you are working, although operating a machine like this is hardly considered work…..

My new Zero-turn Kubota puts a whole new meaning to lawn maintenance at our vineyard, cafe, events centre and house. It has halved the time with a faultless result every time I go out to play with it.

You will never need to look back…”

Peter (Dubbo, NSW)

Charles Sturt University at Bathurst, purchased our first Kubota Tractors from Watson Tractors in 1985. We the purchased another F2560 Mower in 2001, F2560 in 2002, Kubota F3680 Mower in 2010.

We have recently took delivery of two new F3690 Out Front Mowers and a Kubota MX5100 Tractor in August 2014.

Watson Tractors have played a very big role in providing the right advice and equipment to manage our extensive grounds maintenance.

I have seen Watson Tractors grow from a small family business to the Dealership that it is today.

The Service Watson Tractors provide is of excellent standard from Sales to Spare Parts to Workshop Repairs.

I purchased a new Kubota ZD21, 21 hp diesel zero turn mower with 60″ cut from Watson Tractors Bathurst in May 2003.

I have had superb performance from this unit for the past 11 years and it has never let us down. This is due to our strict maintenance procedure. After every use I thoroughly blow out all the Radiator Screens, all guards and covers, including the deck. Filters and Oils are changed according to the Manufactures Service Schedule.

Cannot stress how important regular maintenance means for a quality product.

June 2016, I purchased a new Kubota RTV500 petrol all terrain vehicle from my good friends at Watson Tractors. My wife and I are elderly operators and don’t know how we managed before we bought this excellent machine. Roll over protection structure, seat belts, 4 wd. variable hydrostatic transmission and tilt cargo tray, it’s a beauty. Always out in it everyday on our farm.
